Blue Mountains Grammar is a co-educational Christian School in the Anglican tradition for Students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. Established in 1918, the whole community; staff, parents and students; are committed to achieving the highest academic outcomes possible for each student, whilst maintaining an emphasis on values, faith, and hope.

The School’s Anglican heritage and ethos informs all that it does and we maintain a proud tradition of academic excellence founded on high-quality teaching, learning, and interpersonal relationships within an inclusive community in the heart of a beautiful World Heritage listed National Park.

Application Guidelines

  1. All applications will be acknowledged upon receipt
  2. Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia
  3. Applications should include a Covering Letter of no more than two pages in PDF format
  4. Applications should include a Resume of no more than 4 pages in PDF format
  5. Applications must also include the following information: 
  • Personal details
  • Short-listed applicants may be asked to bring original documents or certified copies of transcripts of qualifications to the interview
  • A summary of your current employment position
  • A concise summary of your employment history (beginning with the most recent position)
  • Working with Children Check clearance letter
  • Names, positions and contact details of three (3) referees
  • Cultural, recreational and other interests

Working with Children Check

Under the Child Protection [Working With Children] Act 2012 [NSW] and the Child Protection [Working with Children] Regulation 2013 [NSW] the School can only employ persons (who will be engaged in child-related work) who hold a verified WWCC clearance from the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian.

The School requires that all employees hold this clearance.

All employment applications must include a copy of the applicants WWCC clearance letter.


How to apply for a WWCC Clearance

  • Complete an online application form available at www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au
  • When submitted online, the applicant will receive an application number
  • Take this number together with proof of identity to a Service NSW
  • Pay the $80 (tax deductible) charge for a five year clearance.
