On 23rd November, students and staff of the Junior School dressed up as their favourite book characters for our annual Book Parade. There were wizards, fairies, princesses, heroes, villains and fairies. From the Mad Hatter to Gatsby to Morris Gleitzman's Felix, everyone embraced the fun of the day and celebrated their love of literacy. A significant feature of the day was The Great Book Swap, which raised in excess of $300 for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. This wonderful Foundation supplies books to children in remote Indigenous communities and the Junior School community and the students embraced the opportunity to raise money for such a worthy cause.
